Arriving in a new country is the part of a trip that most often goes wrong. Olive Homes offers airport pickup and drop off for guests staying with us, so you step out of arrivals, find your name on a board and are driven straight to your apartment in Njiro.

How to arrange it
Tell us your flight number, airline and arrival time when you confirm your reservation, or message us on WhatsApp any time before you travel. We track the flight, so a delay does not mean a driver leaves without you and it does not mean you pay for waiting time you did not cause.
For departures, we agree a pickup time from the apartment based on your check in deadline and current road conditions, then confirm it with you the evening before.
Night and early morning arrivals
Many long haul flights land in Kilimanjaro late at night, and safari departures often leave before sunrise. Both are covered. Our team is reachable around the clock, the gate is manned at night, and someone will let you in and show you to the apartment whatever the hour.
What the drive is like
Vehicles are private, clean and air conditioned, with room for luggage. Drivers are local, know the route between the airports and Njiro, and are happy to point out landmarks or stop briefly for a SIM card, cash or water on the way. If you would rather travel in silence after a fourteen hour flight, that is fine too.
Onward travel across Tanzania
Airport transfers are also the starting point for the rest of your trip. We can arrange drop offs for a safari departure, a transfer to Moshi or Kilimanjaro trek starting points, or a return to the airport for a domestic flight to Zanzibar.
